Wolmanit® CX-8 is a wood protection agent against the effects of brown, white, soft rot fungi and insects. The drug does not contain chromium and arsenic and is intended for use in vacuum impregnation of wood under pressure. Despite the reduced content of active substances, it provides long-lasting and effective protection, which is confirmed by extensive studies of this product in most European countries. The Nordic Wood Protection Council has approved the use of Wolmanit® CX-8 for the impregnation of all grade AB woods. The effectiveness of protection is ensured by the active substances contained in the preparation Cu – HDO, carbonic salt of copper hydroxide and boric acid. The product has been awarded 1 v , P , W and E ratings for wood protection of hazard classes 1-4 according to DIN 68 800, part 3. As a result of pressure impregnation, the protective salt contained in Wolmanit® CX-8 penetrates into the depth of the wood fibers, which provides reliable protection for the wood, so it can be used for various structures: terraces, fences, railings, poles, balconies, wooden flooring, garden furniture , playground equipment, etc. Wolmanit® CX-8 is a liquid concentrate completely soluble in water.

The fixation of Wolmanit® CX-8 occurs due to a drop in the pH level as a result of the release of copper components. Leaching tests confirm that fixation is independent of temperature. Relative fixation is generally achieved within 24 hours of impregnation. In practice, the recommended fixation period is one week (storage under a canopy).
