WAX-type thermal transfer rollers produce a good print image at high print speeds and low thermal head temperature on a wide range of labels: coated and uncoated paper labels and tags, matte film labels and coated tags. However, the printed image has poor smudge/abrasion and chemical resistance. This material is mainly used for printing on labels with a short life.
