The SPECTA VS31 strapping head is designed for use as part of a strapping machine for the purpose of tensioning and fastening steel strapping tape.
The SPECTA VS31 head is suitable for packaging medium and heavy loads, especially in the metallurgical and metalworking industries.
The SPECTA VS31 head combines state-of-the-art drive and control technology with the latest developments in non-welded connection technology.
The completed strapping can only be opened with the help of special shears for steel tape. The strength of the connection is approximately 85% of the breaking force of the tape (depending on the quality of the tape, its size).
The tension can be adjusted in the range from 4000 to 20000 N and is selected according to the type of product to be packaged.
All operations of the strapping head are performed by two pneumatic motors and four pneumatic cylinders.
