SPECTA’s achievements at Metal-Expo 2013
The 19th International industrial exhibition “Metal-Expo’2013” took place in Moscow on 12-15 November 2013. The fair hosted more than 750 exhibitors from 35 countries who demonstrated the products of steel fabrication and metal-working sector. Over 30 000 end-users of metallurgical, machine-building, construction industries visited the exhibition.
SPECTA has also took part in the event and presented its latest achievements.
Taking into consideration the latest tendencies in metallurgy – modernization and automatization of production processes – SPECTA has doubled the ouput of packaging steel strap in SuperJumbo coils (from 450-1000 kgs) for automatic lines. The consumption of high-tensile steel strap SPECTA FORTE has also considerably increased within this year.
2013 was also marked by intense expansion of SPECTA export deliveries to Europe and Asia. The company opened new representations in Finland, Kazakhstan and Byelorussia. Now enterprises in more than 20 countries prefer SPECTA steel and polyester strap for manual and automatic strapping.
A wide range of SPECTA steel strap was presented at the booth. The visitors could get acquainted with technical characteristics of high tensile steel strap SPECTA FORTE, SPECTA FORTE MODEX, SPECTA FACTOR. There was also polyester (PET) strap of types and sizes that are recommended for packing of metal products.
Visitors showed great interest in pneumatic and mechanical strapping tools that were demonstrated in operation at the booth. The champion was SPECTA Samurai – the pneumatic tool which is characterized by high tensile force and shows high performance in severe environment.
In marking sector SPECTA presented a wide choice of marking materials: self-adhesive labels SPECTA POLYPLAST, SPECTA ULTRAPLAST, SPECTA TERMOPLAST, tags for different temperatures, ribbons. Printing of text, bar-code and graphics was effected by thermo transfer printers in a matter of seconds.
Besides exhibits demonstration visitors could also get consultations on packing issues. An important point is that SPECTA experts gave not only separate recommendations but presented complex solutions for certain enterprises irrespective of their sizes and products.
The foreign visitors’ increased interest in SPECTA straps points to the high quality of the product which corresponds to European standards.
The results of the exhibition were fruitful: a big amount of visitors, over 300 new contacts, arrangements on strap testing and agreements on deliveries.
At the closing ceremony SPECTA was awarded Metal-Expo Cup for perfect presentation of its products and professional work during the exhibition.
