Inside SPECTA Quality: Insights from the Head of Technology and Quality
4 July 2025SPECTA Laboratory — The Compass of Production
Evgeny, Head of Technology and Quality, opens the doors to SPECTA’s laboratory, where Specta products are put to the test

What role does the laboratory play in SPECTA’s production process?
Our lab is the compass of our production. We ensure that every batch of finished goods meets not only international standards but also SPECTA’s internal benchmarks — which are often even more stringent. Quality is not just a box to check; it’s a foundation for everything we do.
How exactly do you test the quality of your strapping?
We run a comprehensive set of tests: for strength, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and other parameters. This helps us guarantee that our strap can perform under the harshest conditions — whether in metallurgy or construction.
What happens if you detect deviations from the standard?
If we find any inconsistencies, the entire batch is blocked — there’s absolutely no chance it reaches the customer. We don’t make compromises. We investigate the root cause and implement corrective measures immediately.
Do quality requirements vary depending on the region?
Absolutely. Climate-specific packaging needs vary by region, and some customers require customized documentation. We factor all of that into production.
International clients, for example, often have a strict environmental and technical standards. We adjust to meet them, but always keep our quality high.
How do you keep your laboratory practices up to date?
We regularly check our equipment and invest in continuous training for our team. Quality is a constant evolution, not a static goal.
What’s been your laboratory’s greatest achievement?
It’s definitely stability. Year after year, our clients receive consistently high-quality products. In our industry, that kind of reliability is the cornerstone of trust.
